Application Criteria

Applicants to LifeJourney Pastoral Training will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• The candidate must be a mature, stable, passionate follower of Jesus.
• The candidate must have a clear and compelling call to pastoral ministry. (Although LifeJourney Church celebrates other forms of ministry, such as chaplaincy or counseling or writing, our area of expertise is in pastoral ministry.)
• The candidate must be enthusiastic about a Progressive Evangelical approach to church ministry.
• The candidate must demonstrate substantial entrepreneurial leadership ability through past leadership accomplishments.
• The candidate must demonstrate a clear pattern of general life stability — emotionally, relationally, spiritually, and academically/professionally.
