On November 16, we had the opportunity to hear from two of our students who are in seminary at Earlham School of Religion. Vivian Wyatt, our student intern, preached at the 9:30 am and 6:00 pm services, and David Zier at the 11:00 am service. This was a requirement for a preaching class they’re taking.
They both used the same scripture, John 12:1-8.
Do you consider yourself to be practical? That’s a good thing, right?
What if the Spirit moved you to do something impulsive, selfless, extravagant? Would you do it? Or would you restrain yourself, thinking you might look foolish?
