This sermon begins a new series on the names of God that are found in scripture. Each name is uniquely descriptive, and can give us precious insight into the character and nature of God.
This week, we look at “I AM”, the name God used when encountering Moses at the burning bush. “I AM” is also the root behind the Hebrew name YAHWEH. As we see in this sermon, God is letting us know that God will not be controlled by us — an insight that has profound meaning for how I relate to God, and how I live.
