We can throw out that commandment that Jesus tells is the most important one with ease (from Matthew 22:35–40 and Mark 12:28–34).
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
We quote this scripture often, but we forget that God loved us first. John 4:19. We love because God loved us.

Now think of those words being said about you.
Sometimes we do not absorb the notion that God loves us. We say we can love others well, but when we feel that God does not love us, typically that can be us; meaning we don't love ourselves. But God says, "Let me love you the way I do…"
