Romans 14:17 says, "The kingdom of God is [present tense] … righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."
When we think of our spiritual walk, it is easy to remember when we were baptized, or when we decided to follow Jesus, or some event in our lives where God answered a prayer, or a time when the chips were down and we knew God was there by our side.
Notice how this is in the past? What about right now? Is God dead in this moment, or still working in our lives?
