The author of the New Testament book of Hebrews writes, "… we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses…" (12:1)
Clouds today are not just the puffy white things in the sky. The passage above describe clouds as the people who have been with us in this life. Microsoft and Apple and Google all have clouds where there are all kinds of witnesses. The documents, photos and music we all put there. We assume it will always be there. If the clouds could talk!
