In Honor of Macrina Wiederkehr

One of my best friends, the sister I never had, Julie Sewell, a member of the Monestary in Beech Grove, gives me prayer books every Christmas that are always what… More I need. One of my favorite authors is Macrina Wiederkehr, who, like Sister Julie, is a Benedictine. I was saddened to learn that she died last year. Her last book is called The Flowing Of Grace Now, and it is her latest and last book. Sister Julie gave me this book this last Christmas. It is divided into 52 weeks, where there is a reading each week, but also a spiritual practice for the week. The first week scripture is Psalm 16.
