As 2015 comes to a close, many of us begin to look ahead to the new year. How will it be different than previous years? What will 2016 bring? How should I do things different?
As we contemplate these questions, it’s a great time to begin assessing our spiritual life. What can I do to build a more vibrant spiritual life?
It’s the start of each year that individuals at Life- Journey Church begin completing a personal Soul Care Plan. Part 1: The Soul Care Self-Assessment will help you discern where you are on your spiritual journey and identify possible next steps. Before you do this, view the video “Mary Did You Know.” The words appear below. Allow the song to speak to you about what you know about your relationship with Christ, and where you would like it to be in 2016. As you watch the video, and read the words, replace Mary’s name with your name. Replace “your baby boy” with “Christ.” Read the words and hear the song as if you were the one saying the words. What is it you know about Christ? What is it that you seek in 2016?
