Most of us have heard this. But what does it really mean? Words at this time meant something. It was like a contract. There were no legal documents to sign and lawyers around every street corner. Your word was your honor and binding like a written contract. Today it seems as if something said goes away the next time you open your mouth. Today it is all about the moment. We cannot compare speaking words today as we did at this time in our history.
