When we come together, food is a big component of being family or community. Whether celebrating life, like weddings, a birth, or Christmas, or coming together in death of a loved one, we come together to connect and be present with and for each other.

Many of us have experienced the loss of loved ones in recent times. It can get a little dark. It is good to be there for each other, as Jesus tells us where two or three are gathered, there I am in the midst of you. Jesus is our one true comforter.

Even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you.” Psalm 139:12
