Seasons of Hope – Crosswalk the Devotional – October 17

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance…” – Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

What season of life are you in? Time wise, we are in Fall right now. The leaves are changing colors and falling from the trees. The grass turns brown. We turn the clocks back. We have special holidays. The weather gets cool and a little windier. But it will get colder. Shorter daylight. Snow. Ice. But then Spring. The flowers bloom and the sun warms us up. And then the hot summer is back.

No matter what season of life we are in, God is there. And that means hope is also.
