When Joy Crashes Into Pain

I’m struck by the words of Jesus in John 16:20, “Truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn, but the world will rejoice; you will have pain, but your pain will turnMore into joy.” Though Jesus is speaking to his disciples about his impending crucifixion, his words are applicable to all of us.

“You will have pain.”

“But your pain will turn into joy.”
