What My Life Could Have Been

In this season of thanksgiving, here’s something to be thankful for that may not have occurred to you. Most of us take for granted the blessings of being born into… More this time in history. Think for a moment, though, how different your life would have been had you been born, let’s say, 600 years ago. Here’s how my life would have been different:
-The winters would have been bitter cold even inside without benefit of modern heating. Every bathroom trip outside in the cold would have been freezing.
-I would have lived under a king or queen without the blessing of democracy.
