Make the most of my Job? What? IT’S MONDAY!
Yup, it’s Monday once again. The beginning of the week. Why is it that Friday is always the most wonderful day of the week and Monday is the most dreaded? For some, Friday is pay day. Monday is the start of a l o n g week. Friday means the weekend is here, YEAH! But wait a minute, not for everyone. Some of us need to work the weekends so that others are able to do the things they do on Saturday and Sunday. You could be one of them. But for most of us, Monday means the typical work days are ahead. Is it really so bad?
Instead of looking at Monday as the day that ends the weekend, or the day that starts the long week ahead, let’s jump into it with a new attitude. Let’s celebrate that it is Monday. Another day God has given us. Another chance to do the things that God wants us to do. Another chance to bless others. Another chance to love and forgive, and to be loved and be forgiven. Another chance to live in God’s grace. Another day to make the most of our jobs!
